Marian Bressner has devoted her life to health, education, and the empowerment of others. Her path into wellness and healing was shaped by deeply personal experiences that sparked a lifelong commitment to prevention, resilience, and the dignity of the human spirit.
Grateful for the health of her loved ones, Marian believes that protecting well-being before illness takes hold is not just wise—it is essential. She has spent decades as a health educator and wellness counselor, helping individuals and families recognize that investing in physical, emotional, and mental health is a foundation for a more vibrant and appreciative life. As she often reflects, “If we do not focus on our health, we may be focusing on our disease.”
Her approach is open-minded, inclusive, and deeply curious. She has explored diverse healing traditions—from functional medicine to traditional Chinese practices—always seeking to understand the root causes of suffering and the full spectrum of paths to healing. For Marian, prevention is not just a medical concept—it is a human one, rooted in compassion and respect for each person’s potential.
Marian’s commitment to healing is also shaped by her own life story. Raised in difficult circumstances, as were her parents, she turned to education, counseling, and forgiveness as tools of transformation. These experiences gave her a profound empathy for those who face adversity and inspired her lifelong dedication to creating spaces of care, learning, and possibility for others.
She holds a master’s degree in education with a concentration in early childhood development and counseling, a PhD in natural health, and certification as a yoga teacher. A lifelong learner, Marian continues to explore new practices that honor the full potential of the human experience—body, mind, and spirit.
As the founder of The Cura Vita Fund—Latin for “Care for Life”—Marian has created a legacy rooted in the belief that early action, compassion, and opportunity can change lives. Today, the Fund supports preventative health, mental well-being, economic empowerment, and education—carrying forward her values of healing, dignity, and lasting impact for generations to come.
